In late 2022, I was excited to receive the news that my little harbor seal scratchboard 'Salute the Sun' was selected for the Society of Animal Artists (SAA) 'Encounters with the Animal Kingdom' Exhibition.
After getting through the trials and tribulations of using a float frame for the first time to frame it, I packaged it up tight and sent it on to the Janice Mason Art Museum in Cadiz, Kentucky.
The exhibition opened on 22nd February 2023 and features some truly inspirational 2D and 3D works from SAA members, including a lovely piece from fellow scratchboard artist, Ann Ranlett.
