This is a little study of an endangered spectacled flying fox, so named for the rings of lighter coloured fur around their eyes. Their sweet face and interesting textures make them an enjoyable subject to create, and I have a plan for a larger piece down the track to showcase these incredibly important pollinators.

This scratchboard panel has been sprayed with several coats of U.V resistant, non-yellowing, archival quality varnish (satin finish).
