The look on this little harbor seal's face is what had me hooked. I wanted to capture a moment of bliss, like when you dive into a cool body of water, then swim to the surface, feeling the warm sun on your face as water beads off your skin and hair.
 
The scratchboard surface has been sealed with a matte, U.V resistant, non-yellowing archival quality varnish, and is framed in a black wooden float frame without glass.
 
The art panel is 8 x 10 inches and framed, it is 24 cm x 29 cm.
