Porcupines are adorable and I spent quite a while watching this one at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Their button nose, gorgeous little paws and wild afro make them a fascinating creature from the front and the back, and so came the idea for this diptych.
 
The artwork is two 5"x7" panels side by side that have been varnished with a several coats of archival quality, non-yellowing, U.V resistant, matte spray and framed under non-reflective art glass.
