I initially planted powerpuff lillipillies in our garden for their beautiful foliage - new growth is a lovely maroon to pink colour. But when they flower they are spectacular for the bundles of pink, fluffy blossoms. And these blossoms attract lots of different and fascinating pollinators! Whenever it's in flower, I spend time watching who visits - the large black flower wasps love them and inspired this artwork.
