Explaining scratchboard - Demo at CStudios Gallery, Newcastle

With thanks to the lovely Jo at CStudios Art Gallery in Newcastle, I recently spent a day demonstrating scratchboard. Surrounded by some very inspirational artworks in the 'It's All in the Detail' group exhibition, we chatted about all kinds of things while I scratched away at this tawny frogmouth.

Jo eventually managed to get me on camera explaining the process of scratchboard, and though my face doesn't make an appearance due to a bad hair day, if you turn up the sound, you'll hear me explaining what scratchboard is and the general technique in my VSV (very serious voice!)
